    What Artificial Grass
    Actually Costs in Arizona.

Installed turf starts at $4.99 per square foot. Here is what moves that number up or down on a real yard — and how it compares to what a natural lawn costs you every year.

Artificial grass installation in an Arizona backyard
    Straight answer

    Six things decide your price.

Anyone quoting a flat per-foot number sight unseen is guessing. Two yards of identical size in the same neighbourhood can differ substantially once you account for what has to come out of the ground first.

    Square footage

Price per square foot drops as the area grows — mobilisation, disposal and base prep are largely fixed costs spread across the job.

    Turf product

Pile height, stitch density, blade shape and backing all change the material cost. Pet and putting surfaces are built differently from a standard lawn.

    Demolition and haul-off

Removing existing grass, concrete, rock or roots and hauling it away is a real line item, and it varies a lot by yard.

    Base and drainage

Grading, aggregate depth and compaction. This is the layer that determines whether the lawn stays flat in five years.

    Infill

Standard silica, cooling infill, or antimicrobial odour-control infill for pet areas — each priced differently.

    Access and complexity

Narrow gates, second-storey access, curves, tree wells and inlaid borders all add labour hours.

    Questions

    Cost FAQs.

How much does artificial grass cost per square foot in Arizona?

Our installed turf starts at $4.99 per square foot. Where a specific yard lands depends on size, the turf product, how much demolition is involved and the base build — which is why every project is priced from a free on-site measure rather than a phone guess.

Is artificial grass cheaper than a natural lawn?

It is a larger up-front cost and a much lower running cost. Once you remove irrigation water, mowing, fertiliser, overseeding and reseeding the burnt patches each summer, most Valley yards recover the difference over a number of years. Use the calculator on this page with your own water bill to see your figure.

Do you charge for an estimate?

No. Estimates and design consultations are free, including putting green layouts.

What is included in the price you quote?

Demolition and haul-away, grading, the compacted aggregate base, the turf, seaming and fastening, infill and final grooming. If hardscaping or a shock pad is part of the plan, it is itemised.
